I woke up incredibly early as well as opened the curtains to see Smugglers Cove outside of Skagway.
I had lots of time to get dressed, sip some coffee as well as wait a bit up until we got the all remove from the captain that we might go onshore. just like I did when I ran in Juneau I stopped as well as asked a local, “Hey I have no concept where I am or what I’m performing in life, however I want to run. The great person at the excursion booth directed me in the direction of a foot bridge to some trails. This was really an amazing idea! It was kinda secluded as well as scary, however likewise resulted in the a lot more stunning views!
And I called my mommy as well as told her I was on this huge rock across from the ship. She was able to go out on the balcony as well as see me!
It was Yakuntania Point. regrettably it was less than a mile from the ship so I had to turn around as well as go in one more direction.
I stopped to take some photos before I turned back. I put my cam up against a little tree growing out of the boulder to utilize the timer as well as take a picture. It snapped this as well as then FELL 5 FEET hitting rocks on the method down. Nooooooo! thankfully it didn’t totally break, however the screen is destroyed.
